The second brother live in Shantou, Guangdong, mannage two toy factories. The third brother lives in Pakistan to manage a much big toy market. The fourth brother and Nuerguli lived in Yiwu in charge of purchasing products.
It is not so difficult to do business for Nuerguli. When her brother in Pakistan find some goods are hot seller, he will call her and then she goes to the Yiwu market to find it, after agreement on price, and the quality is well, she will place an order quickly, and no need too much times, her brother could pick up the products in Karachi, and then could sell by retailers.
Do as other Pakistan merchant’s do, Nuerguli also rents two rooms for office in Yiwu Honglou Hotel, and rents two houses for live in Jiangdong District. She said put into too much will earn much.
Except Urumqi and Yiwu, Nuerguli had been to Guangzhou, Shantou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Jinan and many other cities in China, she said not only herself enjoy the life in Yiwu, may be her next generation will also live in China.
Office Building?a Honglou Hotel
Where have many foreigners in Yiwu? If you ask this question, every native will tell you: Honglou Hotel, they even will humorous tell you this is the most famous Chinese Hotel in Aribic District.
Honglou Hotel located in Chouzhou Mid-Road No.70, It was the best hotel in the early 90’s, but right now it mean nothing compare to other 5 star foreign hotels. However it’s never worried about the passenger origin.
There are many stories in Honglou Hotel, one of them is ralated to it’s development. In 1994, there was a very famous merchant in Pakistan lived in there, he lost several thousands dollars in the room No.318, not too long after he went back to his own country, the hotel found the money and returned it to him, the merchant moved and promoted the hotel in the local.
From then on, many Pakistan merchants came to Yiwu and lived in Honglou Hotel for several years. As far, there has been more than 300 residential foreigners in the hotel, 85% is Pakistani, the rest is Indian and Afghans, most of them wear white or grey Arabic gown.
