As soon as the end of the 2007 Yiwu Trade Fair,as a practice,Yiwu Government and the Fair Organizing Committee have invited more than 30 exhibitors to pick thorns. Many exhibitors said the most difficult for them is the tight of the stands.

One craft company from Fujian got big deals in this fair.The deputy general manager of the company,who are in charge of his company?¡¥s show,write two lines in front of his booth: You should place a cabinet order in Canton Fair,but you only need a single box in Yiwu Trade Fair.Besides,it took 45 days to deliver the goods in Canton Fair,but it only needs 7 days in Yiwu Fair. He admitted that the Yiwu Trade Fair and the Canton Fair are strongly complementary to each other.In addition,many customers who are lossed in the Canton Fair,can be gained again in the Yiwu commodities Fair. However, as the leading domestic Consumer Goods Show, the booths are too few, more varieties of new products missed a good opportunity to trade.
Another proof of the fewness of the booths is that more than 2,000 booths of 2008 China Yiwu International Small Commodities Fair (Yiwu Fair) have been booked before the conclusion of the 2007 yiwu Fair. The staff of the organizing committee said half of the booths have been out of stock.
“We will sum up experience, improve inadequate to make more exhibitors satisfactory.” After listening to these exhibitors outspoken speeches,the deputy mayor in charge of the market trade nodded approvingly.
She said that the booth is indeed an old restrictions, but quickly everyone can breathe a sigh of relief,because the new Yiwu International Convention and Exhibition Center has been demonstrated through the planning, will soon be able to start the launch.The new Exhibition Center ,which is next to the original Meihu Exhibition Center,covers an area of 205 arces,the building area of 200,000 square meters, located 4,600 indoor standard booths and put into use before the 2008 Yiwu Fair.
The general manager of the exhibition Zheng xiangjun added:”together with 1500 booths in the old Convention and Exhibition Center,there are more than 6,000 booths in the yiwu International Convention and Exhibition Center.The problem of “booth shortage” will greatly alleviate.
