Yiwu broadcast television station is the joint name of yiwu people's broadcasting station, yiwu TV and yiwu cable television, it was founded on June 4th, 1998. After the three television together, yiwu bureau of radio and TV and yiwu broadcasting stations implement "bureau and station unity" system, and carry out unified institutions and personnel management system. At present, the internal institutions set with "five room four center" namely comprehensive office, chief editor room, career development office, social management office, network multi-function development office, radio program center, television centre, radio & TV transmission center and advertising center. So far, in the broadcast television station has 127 regular staff, including 41 professional technical people whose title over intermediate.
Yiwu broadcast television station’s propaganda work catch high-quality and pay more attention on quality. The TV programs close to the masses, serve the society and rich in local characteristics. The radio programs have4 files broadcast news, 16 file self-managing programs, every week also increase13 self-managing programs. The TV programs have 7 files broadcast news a week, six files self-managing program. Since 1998, radio, TV has received 53 government prizes, among these prizes national has 2 items, provincial 9 items, municipal-scale 42 items.
