Yiwu gym is located in the 8 Xiuhu Xilu, Yiwu. It was built in Sep, 1990 as the first indoor gym in JInghua with 2492 square meters and more than 1600 seats. After more than 10 years, Yiwu gym was getting old.

Even there is a first-class gym in Yiwu —Meihu gym center. It can hold large events and activities. But high cost keeps citizens out of the door. The rebuilt Yiwu gym can solve this problem and to be the supporting instruction of Yiwu meihu gym.

In August, 2009, Yiwu gym was rebuilt. The new one has advanced gym equipments and twice bigger than the old one. It has an area of 4519 square meters and divided into three parts: competition area, training area and monitoring area. It is near Yiwu Meihu exhibition center.        

In competition district, there are 1158 seats and can hold Ping pang, badminton, basketball and volleyball competitions. The training district is especially for different kinds of sports skills training. And Yiwu gym will also bring into many fitness projects like Qigong, taekwondo and Yoga ect. The monitoring district is serving to the supervision of citizens’ health condition.

For the sake of parking, the north and the south of Yiwu gym has established 25 fixed parking space and an outdoor parking lot. The curator said our purpose of Yiwu gym is “one citizen fitness center, one talent training base, one spiritual civilization”
