“Yiwu is amazing. It can make such a large market of those small products. It’s possible for us to produce those products in our country, but we cannot do such a large market.” said by South African sinologists FarhanaParuk when interviewed.

This afternoon, about 20 sinologists who come from all over the world such as Ireland, South Africa, America,Belgium, Canada, Britain and 20 journalists of Asian’s mainstream media come to Yiwu to interview and observe China’s commodity market. They are all curious about the price of the goods when they visited the market. During the interview a Philippine journalists ask Nick, a Pakistani businessman who has lived in Yiwu for more than 20 years, that the price of the goods here is so cheap,and sold in lots of countries, so what’s his opinion on the quality of the goods. Nick says that whether the quality is good or bad depends on the price you offer. The higher price,the higher quality. Many foreigners don’t understand the situation in China. In fact, the quality is becoming better and better as China is in the process of convergence with the world.

While the sinologists seem to be more interested in the life of the foreigners who do business in Yiwu. A Pakistani tell them that both their business and life in Yiwu are getting better and better. He saies that people in Yiwu is very kind, and the local businessmen also treat them well, sometimes they also will discuss about the new product together. He said at last that living in China is very happy.
