Over the past 5 years, many highlights appear in Yiwu market. In 2006, China Commodity City has been awarded the only market of "observing contract and stressing credibility" in China; In 2008, the first gold medal of "model market of credit classification and regulation" was awarded to Yiwu; During financial crisis, Yiwu tried it best to succeed, last year the turnover of Yiwu market and China Commodity City exceeded the new mark of 50 billion yuan and 40 billion yuan, which made a new historical record high; after crisis, Yiwu continue to optimize the investment environment, the principal amount of these 5 consecutive years is over RMB100,000 and 150,000  mark.

In 2005, the economy subject quantity of Yiwu market is 85,000. Among them, there is 77,557 individual business enterprises and various entreprises of 7531. By the end of last year, the economy subject quantity of Yiwu market is 153,000, among which there is 136,640 individual businesses and 16,783 enterprises of all types. Almost every datum has doubled.

In order to meet the new demand of internationalization and national foreign trade comprehensive reform pilot area, the qualification of foreign natural person become a new task for Yiwu Department of Industry and Economy. On March 7th last year, the first foreign-invested partnership enterprise of Zhejiang province got their business license in Yiwu Department of Industry and Commerce. By the end of last year, the number of enterprises of foreign partnership came to 28, accounting for more than 90% of the total foreign partnership in Zhejiang Province.

Yiwu market is gradually changing to a big market.
