Yiwu AmandaIEC reports: There are about 10 thousand of Muslims in Yiwu China, among which over 5,000 are foreigners from 40-odd countries, and the number of Muslims at the weekly worship exceeds 6,000. On the morning of December 8, the Islamic mosque located at Jiangbin West Road of the downtown area was filled with holiday cheer. Nearly 7,000 Muslims from home and abroad gathered here to celebrate the traditional Islamic festival and Corban Festival. People dressed in finery, killed sheep and oxen to treat friends and had various entertainments. 
Due to its fast economic development and the internationalization of its market in recent years, Yiwu has attracted more and more Muslims residing and doing business here. It is estimated that the city is home to a Muslim population of more than 10,000, Yiwu has become the city with the most concentrated Muslim population in East China.
