In the first quater of 2009, while the GDP growth of euramerican countries was in a negative condition, there was still a 6.1 percent of GDP growth in China. It was extrodinary to see that Yiwu had enjoyed a turnover of GDP growth by14.2%.

As an journalist of The Times of England, Leo Lewis, expressed what he had experinced in Yiwu with an astonishing tone in June 8th: The economy in Yiwu has been in a growing condition which shows the positive state of Chinese GDP growth and also shows the promising future of Chinese economy.
