These days, Mansu who comes from Pakistan has been busy as bees, the trading company he managed in Yiwu, Zhejiang is even more so. On March 18, Mansu laughed and said:” We are ready to arrange container and export these commodities purchased several days ago.” Although the financial crisis sweeps the whole world, a majority of the Yiwu small commodities are welcomed in develoiping countries like Pakistan for those are daily necessities and very cheap.
 
“It has been three years since i have come to Yiwu and i like the city more and more”, Mansu had not much reserve the manifestation of the preference toward Yiwu, “If  it’s easier and more convenient to get the visa, I hope i can stay longer and will invite more friends to come and purchase commodities in Yiwu.”
 
Not a few foreigners like Mansu who also has devotions to Yiwu market. Every year, there are 10,000 add foreign residents and 200,000 overseas foreign businessmen come and purchase, besides, more and more overseas enterprises set their representative offices and undertake the purchasing business in Yiwu. Up to the present, according to the statistics provided by the Yiwu Industrial and Commercial Department, there are 2,552 foreign enterprises resident representative offices in Yiwu, which is the largest number among the cities at county level. 
Moreover, another 580 foreign founded enterprises and 88 industrial and commercial units have settled in Yiwu. 
Since a growing foreign businessmen purchases machines from Yiwu, there was not so huge shrinkage in export as expected, on the contrary, a reverse of growth. Accoding to the data given by the custom Department, Jinhua custom received 18,902 export customs declaration from Yiwu small commodity, supervised and managed 34,280 standard export containers, increased by 1.4% and 5.6% respectively compared with the same period last year. In addition,data given by Yiwu Foreign Trade and Commercial Bureau showed the overall self-conducted export and import turnover in Yiwu amounted to 189,000,000 dollars, increased by 13.4% compared with the same period last year.
