2011 China Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair
2011 China Yiwu cultural products trade fair is held jointly by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Culture , Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, and people's government contractors of Yiwu city in April 20-23, 2011, in yiwu international expo center, which tenet is "promote cultural connotation, expand culture industry".
Since reform and opening up, Yiwu has adhered to the development strategy of “revitalizing the city through commerce and trade,” and charted a unique course of scientific development. Based on the market advantages, Yiwu exhibitions economy witnessed fast growth, and Yiwu was recognized as the Most Promising Exhibition City in China. Inaugurated in 2006, China Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair is the first international trade event in Zhejiang especially designed for cultural products. The trade fair aims to promote culture in an all-round way and strengthen cultural industries. With the development of the past five years, the trade fair has grown in to China’s leading international trade fair for the domestic industries of cultural and sports products. In 2008,annual production value of Yiwu cultural Industry reached 100 billion yuan, with 20 billion yuan for key cultural products. It forms a special industry cluster with six dominant products including printing , packing, stationery, sports, frames; New Year’s painting , wall calendar, pen making, and recreation. The trade fair has now functioned better as a platform for international trade with more down-to-earth business orientation toward overseas markets. It hosts a few major groups of events such as trade exhibitions, meetings and forums, and related events. Thanks to innovation, creativity and best service since its inception, the China Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair has formed outstanding characteristics. The past five trade fairs have showcased excellent cultural products from various provinces. The great abundance of domestic and overseas cultural products on display helped people understand how manufacturers at home and abroad can make cultural life colorful and enjoyable.
2011 China Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair is scheduled to be held from April 20 to 23, 2011 at Yiwu International Exhibition Center. The trade fair schedules to have 3,000 booths and have 80,000 special buyers including 5,000 overseas buyers and 30 trade groups. The exhibition is to be composed of sections of the bests of Chinese intangible cultural heritages, products from broadcast and radio industries, products of press and publication organizations. The special products will feature six major varieties such as printing and packaging, stationery and sports products, arts and crafts and frame pictures, electronic publications, and creative cultural products and toys.
